Brown is the color of dark wood or rich soil.It is a composite color made by combining red, black and yellow. The color is seen widely in nature, in wood, soil, and human hair color and eye color. The first recorded use of brown as a color name in English was in 1000. Words for the color brown around the world often come from foods or beverages; in the eastern Mediterranean, the word for brown often comes from the color of coffee; In Turkish, the word for brown is kahve rengi; in Greek, kafé, in Macedonian, kafeyev. In Southeast Asia, the color name often comes from chocolate: coklat in Malay; tsokolate in Filipino. In Japan, the word chairo means the color of tea.

Technical Details
The firing range is from 700°C to 820°C (1300°F – 1510°F). All colours have extremely strong pigmentation, are lead-free and freely mixable to obtain further shades. They are homogenous and smooth in water based medium, environmentally friendly, and easy to use in exactly the required amount ensuring low wastage. All auxiliary products are also lead-free.
